The World Summit on Competency-Based Education (CBE) in the Health Professions is designed to bring together those across the health professions at any point in their journey to implement competency-based education worldwide. The aim of this summit is to encourage the systematic study of processes and practices; to disseminate information about CBE; to encourage the application of CBE research findings; and to provide opportunities for social interaction among individuals with scholarly and professional interests in CBE from multiple disciplines and from across the globe.

The 4th annual World Summit on CBE in the Health Professions will include leading scholars and practitioners reporting their cutting-edge reflections on implementation, research, and innovation. The program will be comprised of plenaries, symposia, workshops, and abstracts that provide excellent opportunities to bring together conference participants for engagement in generative learning through both formal and informal interactions about topics of mutual interest. The World Summit on CBE in the Health Professions is an inclusive meeting that invites all those who are interested in the field, no matter where they are on their scholarly or scholar-practitioner journey.
