He also previously founded O\u2019Nadif, a low-cost water-filtration initiative promoting access to safe drinking water for vulnerable communities, and has actively contributed to Chad\u2019s emerging digital health regulation, advocating privacy-by-design and interoperability. Abakar\u2019s work has been recognized by Forbes Africa,the Expo City Dubai Foundation, UNDP\u2019s timbuktoo HealthTech Hub, the Global Startup Awards (Central Africa winner), and the Zayed Sustainability Prize (Grand Finalist 2025).
